Peace of Mind Comes Now!

“Command your mind and even your thoughts to be at peace. For many are losing control of these things, but this is your day to speak and say to yourself, my peace of mind comes now!”

Prophetic Scripture

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
With the way things are going in the world today, we have to make a determined choice to keep our minds and our thoughts in check. We cannot just let our head think whatever it wants! If you do, you will find yourself running down all sorts of wrong mental paths.
You will jump to wrong conclusions about people, situations, and events that go on around you. The best way to keep your mind in check is to tell it what to do. Speak to your mind and tell it to come in line with God and His Word. The word casting in the verse above literally means to demolish in a violent way. Now that doesn’t mean you do this by literally beating your head against a wall! We exercise spiritual violence against sin and evil with words. You must command your mind to be at peace when thoughts of fear try to come at you. Speak to your mind today and tell it to be at peace in the Name of Jesus! Then fill your mind with thoughts about the goodness and peace of God today!

Prayer

Dear Lord, I know that You have given me power over my thoughts today. So I speak to my mind today, in the power of Jesus’ Name. “Mind, you be at peace, in the Name of Jesus. You think upon thoughts of peace and God’s goodness, right now!” Father, I worship You and give You glory in my thoughts today! In Jesus mighty Name, amen!

Weapon of the Light

“I make you this day a weapon of light against the darkness of this hour. Rise up and act as the light and expect the darkness and evil that would come near you to dispel.”

Prophetic Scripture:

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up (Matthew 4:16).

Everywhere Jesus went, He brought light. Of course, not everyone loved it as He brought light to people who had been sitting in darkness for some time. Have you ever watched how people respond to the light after several hours in the dark? Think of a time when you were asleep and someone flipped on the light. Your eyes needed time to adjust!
When God’s light shines where there has been a lot of darkness, there may be an initial adjustment period and some may try to hide or resist. But in Jesus’ ministry, He continually kept bringing the light, and eventually multitudes responded positively.
We are the light of the world (see Matt. 5:14). That means that wherever we go, we bring the light of God with us like Jesus did. Expect someone to respond to the light of God that is in you. Don’t be discouraged if there is a period of shock or even resistance. Just do what you do best—keep on shining! You are a weapon of light and those who are living in darkness will begin to respond in a good way!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank You for making me a weapon of light! I will let my light shine through my actions, character, words, and attitude. As people see me, let them see You, Lord. I have faith that someone will respond to Your light inside of me and receive a touch from You that will change them forever! In Jesus’ Name, amen!

TURN YOUR PAIN TO GAIN!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE 

"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever."

 (Psalm 30:11, 12 KJV)

The Bible says all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. We saw earlier that as born again Christians we are customised for praises. Therefore in order for all things to work together for your good in painful situations, you must realise and operate in your purpose ie praises. I remember the lyrics of a Hymn that ministered to me sometime ago,
" faith can sing in afflictions".

You cannot genuinely praise God in any situation without the knowledge that God knows what is best for you. When your faith sees the best in the worst experiences of life, then your mouth can open up in praises and your gain will appear.

Are you jobless and in need? Look beyond your situation,see the God who is your shepherd and then raise your voice in praises for He will lead you to greener pastures. Are you married and believing God for the fruit of the womb? Be joyful and praise Him that you are married and a legitimate candidate for motherhood. Look for a reason in your present state to praise Him and you will see God perfecting everything you are looking up to Him for.

You have Jesus in you and the Bible says, He is the Joy of the whole world, Christ in you is the hope of glory. Become an encouragement to others because you can see beyond you present situation. Look beyond your present situation into the unseen eternal word of God. If someone disappoints you, lift your voice and thank God for a better divine appointment.

Recently, a sister was approached by a brother for a relationship. Though she was ready for marriage it did not work out. She just gave thanks and praised God without reservation. A few days ago she called ♏έ and said
"Sir will you believe I just heard that brother died"? She said if that relationship had continued, by now they would be married. Can you imagine?Indeed disappointments are blessings in disguise. Our opening scripture says, God can turn your mourning into dancing. However, the turning must begin with you. Look at where you are and look for a reason to be grateful. See the gain in your pain. Refuse to let the devil exaggerate the pain and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Surely there is an end and your expectation will not be cut short.

Insight and Wisdom

“Know that I am bringing a divine revelation concerning your circumstances. Prepare your focus and expect My Spirit to impart unto you new insight and wisdom that you have yet to consider.”

 

Prophetic Scripture:

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him (Ephesians 1:17).
There is a vast difference between natural human wisdom and supernatural wisdom from God. Of course, we need natural human wisdom, which was given by God to govern our daily lives. Examples of such would be things like “don’t touch a hot stove, because it will burn you,” or “keep an organized budget so you will be better equipped to live in financial stability.”
However, there is supernatural wisdom that God gives into situations, especially when all the best human efforts can’t solve the problem. His wisdom can sometimes sound foolish to natural wisdom. Sure, you can try to solve your financial problems with careful penny pinching. However, in God’s wisdom there is the principle of giving away finances that acts as the road to financial increase.
Sounds foolish to natural wisdom, but divine wisdom cannot be explained.
Expect a divine impartation of wisdom today and that the Lord will give you a key piece of insight that will help you solve some tricky situations with divine inspiration. James 1:5-8 tells us to have faith for that kind of wisdom. Start declaring, “God’s wisdom is in me today and I know exactly what to do!”

Prayer:

Dear heavenly Father, I ask You for divine wisdom concerning _________________. Reveal to me things I need to do differently and provide me a key piece of insight in this area. I receive it and will respond today like I know Your divine wisdom is upon me! In Jesus Name, amen.

Up from the Death Shade!

“Even in times when it would seem that certain destruction is near, I will bring you up from the shadow of death. For light is being cast upon the shadows of evil and you will come to a place of sure deliverance.”

Prophetic Scripture:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Psalms 23:4).

The phrase shadow of death literally means “death shade.” The best way I can describe it is like a Pink Panther cartoon I once saw. Pink was going about his business when a little rain cloud appeared above him. Everywhere he went it kept raining, but only on him. He tried to escape, but it just followed him everywhere, keeping him under a dark cloud.
That is what the shadow of death is like. It is as if you are under the cloud of impending disaster. However, Psalms 23:4 says that we don’t have to fear a death shade because of God’s presence. Remember two things: First, it’s only a shadow. Shadows can’t hurt you, they just indicate that something is there. Know that if the devil has been limited to mere shadow-casting then something is preventing him from actually touching you! Second, remember that shade always disappears when light is cast upon it and the Lord is casting light on those shadows today. Stand with confidence in the light of God’s presence and watch those shadows of death disappear!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I thank You that I am free from the shadow of death. I know that Your presence is with me, casting a light on every situation, and nothing is able to harm me. I come out from the death shade in the Name of Jesus and I refuse to be fearful any longer! Amen!

Early Harvest Is upon You!

“Some harvests take time to grow, says the Lord. For I have reserved some harvests to come upon you before their time, when you don’t expect them. Then rejoice and know that an early harvest is upon you!”

Prophetic Scripture:

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed… (Amos 9:13).

Both in the natural and spiritual realms, there are seasons reserved for planting and others for harvesting. Everything on earth is built upon the seed and harvest principle (see Gen. 8:22). Farmers plant seeds for natural harvests while we plant harvests for life through our choices. When it comes to the Kingdom of God, we reap spiritual harvests by sowing “seeds” into the things pertaining to God’s Kingdom. Not all these seeds are financial, but can be seeds of mercy, love, patience, right words, and so on. These seeds have a growth season and then eventually produce a harvest. Yet when it comes to God, spiritual harvests can transcend normal time. While there are established times for when harvests normally come, God can cause supernatural harvests to appear before their expected time. According to Amos 9:13, there is a type of harvest that can come so quickly that the harvest itself is maturing even before the seeds are fully planted.
There are supernatural harvests from God that come into the lives of everyone. Have you ever received a blessing that came quicker than you expected? That is a supernatural or “early” harvest. Know that God has planned some harvests in your life to come sooner than expected. Expect them at any time and know that times for an early harvest are always upon you!

Prayer:

Lord, I thank You for seasons of early harvest that are established for me. I call them to manifest by faith. I see good things coming upon me that I didn’t even expect. Thank You, Lord! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
